Where to eat in Amsterdam

You know i'm a massive foodie by now and going to new cities to tear about finding the best places to eat is by far one of my favourite ways to see somewhere. So here's a play by play of all of the best places we ate in Amsterdam. Starting with Bakers and Roasters which had been recommended by one of Joel's friends. Expect to queue but it's worth the wait and they let you go and come back which meant it we just did more exploring until our table was ready.

Next up was a place i had lusted over on instagram for AGES. The Corner Bakery does a lot of things really well (milkshakes, donuts, cakes, bagels...) but it also is one of the cutest and most instagrammy places we went to. We liked it so much we went twice!

Sticking to the theme of places i found on instagram, probably the most unique place we visited, and probably my favourite, was the Avocado Show. Every dish has some element of avocado in it. What's not to like. Again expect to queue - we got in by the skin of our teeth!

On to something a little sweeter... Pancakes at Mook are some of the best i've ever tasted. I mean they came with a whole litre of extra maple and a cup of peanut butter drizzle!! Enough said.

The next place was recommended by my good friend Nina. It's called G's and despite it being pretty simple and low key in appearances it was one of my favourite breakie places we went to as it felt really nostalgic and where proper locals would eat.

The last place that's worth a little mention is Coffee and Coconut. Super cute exterior, great food and amazing coconut smoothies! We went for dinner but this would be perfect for brunch too.

And this is why i will never be a size 8... oh well, absolutely no regrets. I'd go back and eat it all again!
